Fortress is the ultimate games culture and experiences company, creating awe-inspiring destinations.
The first venue of its kind, Fortress Melbourne is a multi-level complex spanning over 2,500 square metres. Followed shortly after by Fortress Sydney in 2023, home to 100s of playable devices and interactive experiences.
Together with gaming, entertainment and lifestyle partners, Fortress delivers online and in-person programs that connect thousands of Australians through games. These include; open experiential activations, community focused social events, professional esports tournaments and broadcast productions.

The Home of Games is for players of all ages, however, as a licensed venue there is a non-negotiable Under-18s Policy for patrons.
Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. No minors are permitted unaccompanied.
Accompanied minors are permitted to enter the venue until 7PM each day, and must leave before 8PM.
No, Alienware has provided top-tier peripherals for everyone to use! We also clean and sanitise everything between every use! If you don’t wanna play with a keyboard and mouse we also have XBOX controllers you can use if that’s more your style!
No, full access to our games libraries is included in your PC Pass or hire of VIP Booths. There are plenty of guest accounts available, which means you can enjoy top releases without needing your own account or to own the title.
You can also log into your own PC game accounts if you wish, or BYO board games. You cannot use personal games/accounts on consoles in VIP Booths.
Fortress is designed to be wheelchair accessible across all levels of both venues from our streamer pods to the bathrooms, even the Alienware Arena stage!

No. Fortress is a licensed venue, we are unable to allow outside food and drinks in the venue.
The only exception is if you are bringing your own cake into Fortress for a celebration, in which case you can pay a $15 cakeage fee which covers storage, serving, and all associated utensils and servingware.
Fortress is a cashless venue. We accept credit cards, debit cards and digital forms of payment, through your smartphone or our POS system.
