The rest of our venue will still be open until late if you were unable to secure Gala tix.
Though the Gala ends at 10pm, the party will kick on until late with DJs in the Arena!

When is Fortress open during MIGW & PAX?

We are open for walk-ins only every day of Melbourne International Games Week – and entry is completely FREE!

Since we aren’t taking bookings, just walk-in if you’re wanting to enjoy post-PAX drinks, dinner, PC Gaming, VIP Booths as well as everything else we offer!

WE’VE EXTENDED OUR OPENING HOURS:

What can I do at Fortress during PAX weekend?

All of our general offerings are still available during this time – from bars, dining, arcade, PC & board games to VIP Booths and Streamer Pods, just walk-in and talk to our lovely staff to eat, drink and play!

We’ve also got roaming entertainment, themed cocktails, extra pop-up bars, giveaways, discounts & more to celebrate Melbourne International Games Week.

Is the venue open to everyone on the night of the Fortress Gala?

Yes! While the Gala is a strictly ticketed event, the rest of the venue will be open until late – including The Tavern for dining and drinks, the Telstra Lounge for Free PC gaming, and the arcade!

As the Gala and 3hr drinks package for ticket-holders concludes at 10pm, the party kicks on in The Alienware Arena for all – enjoy DJs until late!

I'm under 18 and want to come to Fortress during PAX weekend, is this allowed?

For sure! However we have a minors policy in line with the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission which can be found here: https://www.fortress.games/minors/

Am I able to wear my cosplay to Fortress?
